In 1992 The Kennel Club introduced the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme.  This was brought in to help owners deal with the everyday situations in a dogs life and to try and help make your dog a good companion for you and a good citizen in the outside world.  It is in four stages: Puppy, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

To prepare your dog for these awards I run an initial 6 week course, plus extra weeks until the dogs are ready, with a test by a qualified assessor for each award.
